La Capannina
This is the best Pizza I have had in Brighton and probably one of my favourite Italian restaurants ever, hidden in the heart of Kemp Town, I came across it by chance when my partners mum came to visit us last year she was staying in a hotel in Kemp town so I googled restaurants near by and this came up so I booked it, it was booked for a Saturday night, I'm so glad I booked as it was so busy when we got there and definitely wouldn't of been seated if we hadn't booked.
The atmosphere was great, it had a really authentic and cosy feel to it, with clay pizza ovens and the sound of Italian accents from the staff.
I also went this year in February 2020 on a Saturday lunch time, where they have a special set menu, which I will put up, both times I had a seafood pizza with prawns, the pizza is so tasty and well cooked, there is also a meat pizza which comes with chips on which looked pretty cool too.
The wine is very reasonably priced too so it works out excellent value for money.
I love this place and will definitely be going back, I would recommend it to everybody, the menu is varied with more than just pizza, but the pizza is so good and reasonably priced, if you plan on going on a weekend in the evening I would definitely advise that you book a table.
I think its a taste of Italy nothing fancy, just good tasty food, a hidden gem in Brighton!
