Baby Bao- Take- away Yay!

The pond have now started a takeaway service for Baby Bao- you just have to send them an email with your order the email address is info@thepondbrighton.com before Saturday 2pm or phone orders up to 7pm on the day 01273 660277- payment upon collection.

They are also doing take away beer too.

This is available on Saturdays from 2pm- they email you back with a pick up time.

I ordered last week and had my usual tofu steamed bun and house fries, it did not disappoint!

As the COVID-19 Pandemic sadly continues, Wild Flor have decided to do a weekend menu that is delivered to your door, the menu is available now, see below, taking orders for the weekend. Check it out it looks amazing, and support local businesses, I will definitely be ordering for a weekend treat.

What’s on offer?

Our central offering will be a ‘finish at home’ 3 course meal box for one.

We felt the things that would be most appreciated at home are the dishes that take days to create & therefore are less likely to be cooked at home, alongside seasonal produce & other delicious optional additions.

There are two meal box options – one for meat-eaters & one vegetarians.

We are likely to change the content weekly & seasonally, but here is the first planned offering, to give you an idea.

Option 1: A slice of chicken & ham hock terrine with chutney & pickles, followed by a braised hogget pithivier with wild garlic mach & carrot puree. A slice of English custard tart for dessert.

Option 2: A spring salad of new season asparagus & spring greens with chervil dressing & english cheese, followed by a dauphinoise & caramelised onion pithivier. A slice of English custard tart for dessert.

We are also making our cellar available for you to drink at home & will be listing a few options each week to suit the menu.

Delivery

We are happy to deliver anywhere within a 30 minute radius, give or take. Our two delivery days are to be Saturday & Sunday, an ideal little weekend treat is the idea. Order’s must be placed by Thursday at 6pm for that week’s delivery.

Skinny Lager

During Quarantine, I have been trying to find a lower calorie alcohol option, I ordered skinny lager which is gluten free, low sugar and low carb and only 89 calories, but still 4% alcohol, it is really good actually, it tastes similar to Corona, I have been putting a lime in mine. Definitely recommend this to all, and its the lowest calorie lager I've found that tastes good.

I ordered mine from Amazon was £14 plus free delivery for 12 bottles.
